Guilherme Carneiro

Guilherme is a Brazilian first year PhD student, supervised by Prof. Aaron Quigley and Dr. Miguel Nacenta. He holds a Master degree in Human-computer interaction from Paris-Sud University in France. Before coming to St. Andrews, he worked for six months as a Research intern at INRIA (the French National Institute for computer science and applied mathematics).  His research focuses on collaborative information visualization to facilitate group decision making in real time. Guilherme’s additional research interests include Information Visualization, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, multi-surface interaction and distributed user-interface.  His PhD is currently funded by CNPq and the Brazilian government through the Science Without Borders program.
