Alberto is a student who is currently completing his MSc. Management & Information Technology at the University of St Andrews. Before coming to St Andrews, he studied Interpreting & Translating at the Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori in Palermo, Sicily.

For his MSc dissertation Alberto is supervised by Aaron Quigley. His research deals with the evaluation of the Microsoft Surface Hub in collaborative scenarios. This device was awarded by Aaron Quigley, Uta Hinrichs, Miguel Nacenta, and external faculty members Jonathan Hughes and John Stasko as part of an Academic Research Request selected by Microsoft Research.
