Kaixuan (also known as Ray) completed his BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Tianjin University and his MSc in Data Analysis at St. Andrews. Now, he is currently undertaking his Ph.D. in Human-centric Machine Learning in Computer Science and supervised by Dr. Loraine Clarke and Dr. Alex Voss. His research is focusing on integrating the concept of ‘human-centric’ into Machine Learning system design. His current work encompasses:
- Exploring possibilities of applying Machine Learning algorithms to domain-specific scenarios
- Enhancing stakeholder’s participation in Machine Learning development
- Engaging with domain expertise and helping domain experts with their needs.
