On Wednesday October 7th we had a series of short talks by final year students supervised by SACHI supervisors, explaining what they are working on (and why) for their final year dissertations.
During this series of talks we heard about Force directed graph drawings, Mobile Experience Sampling, 3D vision, Hieroglyphic signs, Mobile Multi-Displays, Cell tracking, Web navigation, Virtual museums, Gaze tracking and Digital Handwriting.
With lunch provided along with numerous ways to get feedback this was a highly informative and enjoyable event. Feedback came in the form of questions but also individual feedback sheets for each of the student presenters to follow up on.
